Terms and Conditions for all Competitions

1. Eligibility:

• The competition is open to participants aged 18 and over.
• Participants must be residents of the United Kingdom. Winning entrants will be notified.

2. Entry Period:

• The competition entry period begins and ends when specified on the website and relevant social media posts. Entries after this date may not be counted.

3. Entry Requirements:

• To enter, participants must:
  • Follow the instructions provided on the relevant social media post which stipulates the entry requirements.
  • Conditions of entry may involve:
    • Commenting on a specific social media post
      • with a specific word
      • tagging other users
      • 'liking' the social media post
      • 'following' or 'liking' the organizers social media profile page.
  • The entry requirements may differ between social media platforms for the same competition.
  • Entrants may need to Follow/like the HighStGiveaways.UK page on the same respective platform as their entry (eg: Instagram, Facebook)
• An email address must be provided as means of entry. This will not be used to spam you with marketing messages - that's our promise.

4. Entry Limitations:

• For social media post entries, there is a maximum entry of 1 per person, per platform, meaning a total maximum of 2 entries per person across Facebook and Instagram.

5. Geographic Restrictions:

• The competition is only available to players in the United Kingdom.
• Some prizes are phyical and need to be sent via post. These can only be sent to a United Kingdom mainland address.
• For cash prizes, entrants must hold a UK bank account or agree for a suitable alternative means of payment, such as PayPal.

6. Winner Selection:

• Winners will be selected at random using a random ticket number generator.
• The selection will be announce on the organizers relevant social media platforms, and by email, as well as during a live video broadcast on Facebook and/or Instagram.

7. Prize:

• Prizes are only issued to the entrant with a winning ticket number.
• For Cash prizes, winners will be contacted after the final draw to arrange payment.
• All cash prizes are paid electronically. Entrants must hold a UK bank account or agree for a suitable alternative means of payment, such as PayPal.
• The organizers may offer a cash alternative for some prizes or the same or similar value, at their discretion.
• Winners will be contacted after the draw to arrange payment.

8. Data Usage and Publicity:

• By entering the competition, participants agree to their username and the first and last names associated with their social media account being used publicly in connection with the competition, such as the entry list.
• The entry list will be made publicly available on the organizer's Facebook and Instagram page, as well as the website.
• These public username may be used in future promotional material.

9. Disqualification Criteria:

• Entries may be disqualified if they violate the terms and conditions, contain inappropriate content, or breach any rules outlined in this document.

10. Changes to Terms:

• The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the terms and conditions if necessary. Any changes will be communicated to participants.

11. Data, Privacy & Compliance with Laws:

• We gather publicly available information, including social media usernames, and obtain email addresses only when voluntarily submitted by users.
• Email addresses are processed to notify competition winners and are securely stored on a UK server.
• In the future, these email addresses may be utilized to announce the launch of a new online competition platform, inviting users to opt-in by creating an account.
• Users will not be automatically enrolled in any service without their explicit consent.
• Email addresses and names will be retained for a duration aligned with applicable UK laws and only as long as reasonably necessary.
• The competition complies with relevant local, national, and international laws and regulations.

12. Dispute Resolution:

• Any disputes or complaints related to the competition will be resolved by the organizers, for the competition's duration and up to two weeks after the winner is announced. Entrants may make their complaints directly with the organizer via a message on the Facebook or Instagram platform.

13. Closing Deadline:

• The closing deadline for the competition is clearly stated on the relevant social media post, or on the High St Giveaways UK website.

By participating in the competition, participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions. The organizers reserve the right to disqualify participants who do not comply with these terms. This competition is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Facebook or Instagram. Participants release Facebook and Instagram from any responsibility related to the competition.
